Craig Carbonniere, Senior Director, Milestone Inc. In this session, he discussed how Artificial Intelligence and technology such as ChatGPT applies to boutique and independent hotels and how it impacts hotel marketing, staffing, and the guest experience.
Marco Johnson, CLSS, Loss Control Manager for Petra Risk Solutions presented a session on When Regulations Come Knocking. He shared what to expect when Cal/OSHA visits your property, and how to prepare for the inspection.
The CHLA lunch general session had a full house to hear Lynn Mohrfeld and Heather Rozman.
Lynn Mohrfeld, President & CEO, of the California Hotel & Lodging Association shared a California Legislative Insights and Advocacy.
Amplify Your Voice: Homeless, Hotels and Politics was presented by Heather Rozman, President & CEO, of the Hotel Association of Los Angeles, (HALA). She discussed why it is important that the hotel industry participates in local government and how hotels can ensure their voices matter.
